Use this tool to search for:

- Hazard designations for chemical waste and waste mixtures from lab processes.
- Whether you can pour chemical waste into a sink drain.

**Do not assume that all chemicals in a waste mixture are compatible.** Many mixtures have chemicals that are incompatible with each other (even mixtures from controlled lab processes or reactions).

Mixing incompatible chemicals can generate heat, pressurization, violent polymerization, toxic or flammable gases, fire, or explosions.
